Before the session, Ani contacted us to get a feel for our preferred style and offered suggestions to ensure a smooth session. I had my maternity portrait session with Ani today and I absolutely loved the experience. She is so welcoming and makes you feel at home in her photography studio. She guides you so well through poses, directions, and outfits. I would absolutely recommend her to family and friends because I know they won't regret the experience. I looked over the portfolios and talked to about four different maternity photographers and she definitely was the one to stand out the most and did not disappoint.

We chose Ani for our first baby's newborn portraits three years ago... I just gave birth to a baby girl last month, and we went back to Ani again! She's now two for two on making our newborns sleep better during her photography session than in their own bassinets 😅. She does great with little ones and has great eye for design. I felt comfortable in her knowledge of patterns/schemes or props that would look good together. Another thing I loves is that both my children's baby books, canvas, and pictures are same high quality which can be displayed together.

Ani is exceptional at her craft. My husband and I were looking for a newborn photographer and were immediately drawn to Ani's work after seeing it on Instagram. She is a professional through and through, and I was amazed at how well she navigated my little one and I through the newborn photoshoot. Her attention to detail is bar none, and she captured photos of our little one that we will cherish forever. I cannot recommend her enough, and I plan to work with her for all our future family portraits.

I did my maternity and newborn shoot with Ani and absolutely loved it. For the maternity shoot, Ani and her assistant for the day went above and beyond to deliver on the specific vision I had for the shoot. They were highly professional and made me feel like a complete goddess. The photos were amazing - with friends likening it to pics that could be in Vanity Fair.

For the newborn shoot, the professionalism remained - even as the subject of the shoot was not in the mood to cooperate. Ani had to adjust in real time, as the photos we wanted just weren't possible as my daughter decided to stage a protest against sleep. Nevertheless, Ani was super super patient and with a little time, we were able to get the shots.

Bonus: the greenroom in Ani's studio has snacks and drinks and is so calm. It definitely came in handy during our newborn shoot that was longer than expected, and a very hungry breastfeeding mama!

I have done both maternity and newborn photos with Ani and I can't imagine having had the same experience with any other photographer. Ani is a true professional with a client-centered approach. I felt so comfortable with Ani during my maternity photo shoot. She made sure that I left with the shots looking the way I had envisioned. During the newborn photoshoot, my husband and I were so impressed with the way Ani worked with our four-day-old (!!) baby. Ani and her team created a safe and comfortable environment for our family photos - and for a family of five that is no small feat, particularly with a newborn. After doing research online and comparing a few photographers we decided to choose Ani to capture our newborn daughter’s first photos. And let me tell you- it was the best decision!! I loved how thorough and organized Ani was right from the get go. As a first-time expecting parent, I was anxious about the whole thing and Ani put me right at ease talking me through all of my questions during our first call. After we secured our booking and our daughter was born, Ani was again super helpful and communicative to ensure we got a date scheduled for the shoot asap and was prepared for that day. Ani even called before a day before the shoot to chat any additional vision/questions I had.

When we arrived for the shoot we were welcomed to a beautiful, clean, comfortable and warm studio. It was such a pleasant environment not only for our daughter, but for my husband and myself too. Ani was amazing- to say the least. Her professionalism and talent shined the whole time and I could not have felt more comfortable with the gentle way she photographed our sweet girl. She was also very kind and patient with me (who, I'll admit, was hovering the whole time) which was very appreciated!

When the photographs were ready to view and select at next appointment- again the experience exceeded our expectations. Ani was again super patient and helpful when choosing/deciding our favorite photos (which is a difficult task when they are all so amazing!!) She also helped to creatively design our birth announcement cards while there too. The experience she provides is top notch - from the large viewing screen and tech that allows you to visualize the photographs hanging on your own walls to the many examples (prints/books etc) she has for inspiration/reference.

Our finished products (digital images, large prints, and birth announcement cards) were extremely high quality and worth every penny. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on the birth announcement cards!

I think it’s clear we were very pleased with the whole experience. My advice to those deciding - yes newborn photoshoots are expensive but with Ani you do get what you pay for. It’s an investment you won’t regret and won’t regret choosing Ani.

I recently had my maternity photoshoot with Ani at her studio and am so happy with the experience and the final product. She made me feel so comfortable and glamorous. I usually feel like I look too stiff in professional photographs but because of Ani, I was relaxed and it shows in my photos.

If you want amazing portraits, Ani is the one to hire. NO DOUBT about it. I am sooo grateful that I went to Ani to photograph my maternity photos and the newborn and family photos. I am a planner so I loved that Ani invested time with me ahead of the shoots to plan all the details: wardrobe, colors, hair etc. For the newborn photos, she even gives specific instructions to follow beforehand to help the baby be comfortable and calm during the shoot. My maternity photos captured the happiness and excitement in a classy and timeless way. The newborn photos I will cherish forever as the captured so much detail that I would have never thought of. Aside from her expertise and vision, Ani is the one to go to because she is unbelievably patient and responsive. Also, the studio itself is wonderful. So comfortable and my husband and I appreciated all the amenities that she offered us during the long shoots. For all the work and time that goes into before, during and after the session, plus the photos that you will keep forever, the price is very fair. So WORTH IT!!!!

Let me first start off by saying you NEED to hire Ani. I found her randomly on Yelp and instantly fell in love with her work. You can tell Ani really cares about her clients and not about money. She takes her time to get to know her clients and isn’t pushy at all. Ani did my maternity and newborn shoot. I’m currently waiting to get my newborn photos. I chose to have Ani do our maternity and newborn photography. One of the best decisions ever! From the time you walk into her tranquil studio you are treated to a VIP experience. When I saw the photos all I can say is a jaw dropping WOW! Her attention to detail goes above and beyond! It was the most difficult process to narrow down which photos my husband and I wanted to keep; every time I said no to a photo my heart broke a little because they were all so spectacular! This is no exaggeration! And then after that we received our pictures..and her presentation is amazing! When my husband walked in with our finished product my 2 year old was so excited. Let me start by saying that I can't recommend her enough for newborn photoshoot. We love our photos and keep sharing them with our family. Can't believe how angelic and serene our baby looks there. Ani is a professional, very meticulous caring and organized. She handled our baby with great care and warmth.

We wanted a newborn photoshoot since day 1 of my pregnancy, we did research through google and yelp. Ani's website, portfolio stood out for us, you can feel the warmth, love and attention to detail in her photos. Next we contacted her, she called us back, we talked to her for about 30 minutes, she explained the process, was very attentive and didn't put any pressure. Than she asked us to fill out a survey, so she'll kbow what type of photoshoot we want. There was a specific pose that I really wantted to do with our baby (she did it, and now it is our favorite photo). After our baby was born we scheduled a session, but had to reschedule due to my husband's work. She was very supportive and accommodating the whole time.

Photoshoot went great, her studio is clean, well organized and warm, she has a special room for parents, to nurse and relax. She changed different hats, backgrounds, blankets and she did some photos in the basket. I was in awe how organized everything was.

Then we had a meeting regarding baby's photos, we chose the package we wanted, she made the whole process very easy and enjoyable. We got the finished photos in couple of weeks and can't be more happy with them. Definitely will be back

Ani did both my maternity photos and our son's newborn photos - she did an exceptional job and I am beyond thrilled with the final pictures. My infant son had two large accidents on Ani AND her floor and she just took it in stride and soothed him and was able to capture the most sweet and precious pictures that our family will treasure forever. We had so much fun working with Ani for newborn photos. Ani is award winning for her newborn photography and with good reason. She's very gentle and has every detail planned so the shoot went smoothly with my newborn.

I'm very particular with cleanliness especially during this pandemic and Ani was great with making sure she was following protocols during this time such as wearing masks, hand sanitation and keeping her studio clean.

The journey to starting a family was a surprise in the best of ways! Not to be a drag but the entirety of my family has always struggled with mental illness, so naturally having kids just seemed completely out of the question. When the pandemic forced the world to shut down, I finally worked through my father's death due to his mental illnesses and I realized then that he gave me the gift to discover myself and learn from his mistakes. My partner of 12 years and I decided it was time to freeze my eggs only to find out I was expecting and I knew that was a gift from him and God. A few days after giving birth, sleep deprived and deep in new mom land, I found myself in Ani's studio watching her work her magic.The experience itself, from her professionalism and attention to every detail, was nothing less than amazing. I realized at that moment, while my husband was snoring on the couch in the next room over (oh and there's snacks and refreshments too), Ani gave me the gift of celebrating life again. She goes over a very detailed plan as if she is holding your hand walking you through from how to best prepare your little one down to which print and style of photography would look best in the layout of your home. It's hard to explain how nice this type of service is in a few sentences if you haven't experienced it but let me tell you after giving birth this is a god send! The session in her studio itself was and will always be a monumental moment in the first chapter of my son's life feeling joyous and full of love. Thank you so much Ani! We didn't do newborn photos for our son and I always regretted it. Of course, our daughter was born in the middle of a global pandemic and we were worried about safety. It was so great to find Ani, who was recommended as having excellent COVID protocols. We loved her website and reached out. She was super responsive and an extremely clear communicator. She's great about explaining things, from the prices to how to get the best shots of a sleepy newborn. We spent several hours with her and found the studio to be warm and inviting. She had snacks for our son, a cozy place for me to pump and calming music. I loved how much Ani puts into each and every shot — carefully arranging a tiny headband or placing our daughter's feet just so. Bringing a 5-day-old baby in for a photoshoot has the potential to be a very stressful experience but Ani made the whole thing feel effortless. Our baby basically slept during the entire shoot. Her studio is incredibly comfortable and cozy. She has couches and chairs to sit on and offers a variety of beverages and snacks while you wait. You can also join her in the photo studio to watch her work, which was the best part of all! We ended up taking a photo album, a large artistic piece plus all of the photo images because we couldn't limit ourselves to only a few things! Ani also works with you to edit everything perfectly and to create unique pieces just for you. I highly recommend her and will definitely be coming back for our 1 year photoshoot.

Ani is a magician. I had my 10 month old in for a session. The baby peed and cried the whole time. I was certain Ani didn’t get any good pictures, how could she? Baby wouldn’t stop crying. Ani was patient the whole time and really sweet. I was totally shocked at all the adorable pictures she managed to get!! There were so many it took me over 3 hours to narrow down to 20 something. Our newborn photo session was an amazing experience because Ani is simply wonderful with newborns. She's extremely patient and she truly gives you a sense of security when she's handling your baby and taking the hundreds of pictures. Before even getting to her studio, Ani is very thorough in providing you all the information you need prior to your appointment as well as when you're ready to select your pictures. It's very obvious she knows what she's doing and how experienced she is in what she does. 

Her studio is very comfortable. She has an area for the parents to watch TV, a changing table, comfortable chairs to nurse your baby, as well as a small kitchen. She provided us with lots of water and snacks which really came in handy considering the lengthy photo session. 

I highly recommend Ani! It's very hard to find a photographer that you can trust, let alone trust with your newborn and I'm glad I found her because we were able to not only get amazing pictures but we also felt very comfortable and at ease working with her.

After doing some internet research on maternity/newborn photographers in the area I decided to go with Ani since she had great reviews and I liked her style. I am usually the one taking photos and not naturally comfortable in front of cameras (especially when I'm the subject). However, Ani was so nice and easy to work with during both sessions - and extremely patient during our newborn/family photo shoot. She is really a pro at working with newborns! Her studio was also very comfortable for everyone with a nice separate area for snacks, waiting, resting, etc. My husband was very happy with both the maternity and newborn/family photos. Ani is such a wonderful photographer. She was so patient with our 1 week old and 18 month old daughters, spending all afternoon to make sure she was able to get the shots she wanted. She was amazing at calming down both girls - even when our 18 month old was getting antsy and tired. The photo studio was warm and welcoming, and there were books and activities for our 18 month old while she waited her turn in front of the camera. The photos turned out beautifully - truly works of art. We enjoyed sitting down with Ani to review her photos - she has a precise eye for detail and it shows in the finished product! We will enjoy her work for years to come. We will definitely be returning to Ani again.

We booked a newborn photography session with Ani, but then baby arrived two weeks early. I contacted Ani after getting home from the hospital and she was able to get us in within a few days.

Ani is AMAZING with babies! She was able to get our little one to stay calm and sweet the entire photo session. She is seriously the baby whisperer. My husband and I just stood there in awe as she lulled our baby to sleep instantly and put her in the cutest poses without a fuss. We ended up with so many adorable photos of our baby.

For one of the shots, we wanted to put baby in a special robe with some props around her. Unfortunately, the robe we ordered online didn't arrive in time. But Ani improvised with some fabric and it looked incredible!

Ani has a solid professional process too. Her emails are very thorough and clear so we knew exactly what to do and what to expect from the session. We ended up ordering a ton of shots because there were so many great ones. We also decided to book another session at 1 year.

I'm so glad that my husband and I hired Ani to take portraits of our daughter for her first birthday. She was incredibly patient with our relentless crawler -- I was amazed by how many beautiful shots Ani was able to get of our baby despite all her moving around and occasional crabbiness. It definitely gave me a new level of respect for her work. (Seriously I don't know how she does it every day!) I think Ani has a wonderful aesthetic sensibility, and it's clear that she gets a huge amount of joy from her work, so she's a pleasure to be around. She was also a pro at helping my husband and me select which photographs to have printed--she made an agonizing decision as easy as possible. Her photo studio is lovely too--very elegant and comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

After speaking with Ani on the phone for the first time I knew I wanted to work with her! She is so patient, kind, and detailed! She really wanted to get to know me, my style, and what I was looking for in regards to our newborn photos. When I didn't know what I was looking for, she helped by showing examples of different ideas she had. 

Our shoot day was very well planned. Our 5 day old newborn twins started off ready to be photographed, then got fussy, then calmed down again, and Ani was extremely understanding and patient with all of us! She showed me shots as she was photographing to make sure we were getting what I liked. She even smiled through a few baby pee and poo accidents! :)

When it came time to go through our images Ani sat with me and helped me narrow down my favorites, and didn't pressure me to purchase more than I wanted. It was such a wonderful experience and I would love to work with Ani again! I highly recommend her as a newborn photographer!

My wife and I went to Ani for our first son's newborn pictures. Everything from the consult to the photo session to the ordering of prints, Ani made sure we were heard and we were all on the same page when it came to what we were looking to achieve from this newborn photoshoot. She was great with our son, and was able to keep him deep asleep the whole time! Ani's pictures were everything we hoped for and more, and when it came time to order prints she helped us find what we were looking for by giving us a lot of reference pictures to see how the canvas would look on our walls. We also ordered a fine art book, and we were able to pick each page's layout and add in small special details to make it even more special and unique. Ani is an amazing photographer and we are so glad we found her.

It was through a random coincidence that I found Ani and I couldn't be happier with the end result! I was having a difficult time finding the right photographer for the look and feel of our beach inspired maternity photoshoot, and when we saw Ani's images on her website, we knew right away we wanted her to do the shoot. First and foremost, my partner and I had a unique traveling/location/short notice situation that Ani so wonderfully worked around with us. I could not be more grateful for her ability to do this. She was incredibly patient and upon our first phone consultation walked me through her vision, spoke with me about mine, discussed outfit ideas, things that would and would not work for our location etc. I went into the photo shoot with a lot of knowledge from her about what to expect and what she could expect from me. During the actual photo session, she made me completely comfortable. I was 37 weeks pregnant and while I didn't feel huge by any means, I was starting to feel a bit bigger, and she made me feel totally beautiful. She was great with her direction, again very patient, and I went away feeling that we had captured some truly special moments. AND THAT WE DID!! I reviewed with her the final photos and they were beyond my expectations. I've never done a professional shoot like this and I am so thankful that we were able to capture my pregnancy in this way. In the end, what was not expected, was the most gorgeous packaging that we got to unwrap when we received our final prints package. Absolutely stunning! And of course, the actual print quality was amazing. Ani is very talented and very caring about the whole experience. I couldn't be happier about my photos that I now get to cherish forever!

I came across Ani on instagram. I loved her work and decided to give her a call. What I loved the most was that she was very friendly. Since the first phone call I had with her I knew i was going to book with her and my search for maternity photographers was over. She answered all my questions and went over the process. She made me feel comfortable with just one conversation. Not only does she care about you loving the pictures but she also helps with how and where you will display your art. Ani is the best person & PHOTOGRAPHER ever! She's so professional and very helpful about the questions you may have. I had a newborn photo session with her and it was LOVELY. She took care of me and my baby so well. As a first time mom I even learned a few things from her. She & the photo studio she has definitely made me feel at home. She was very welcoming and even had snacks to offer. Her session was definitely a good experience considering i didn't go out anywhere after giving birth. Her service was FANTASTIC. We had Ani as the photographer for our son’s both newborn and 7-month pictures. Ani is amazing both as a photographer and as a person. I would highly recommend her for the following reasons:

1. Her place is very clean and super kids/family friendly. She has the changing table, white noise machine, wipes setup in her studio and room temperature is perfect for the newborn. Anything you could think of that maybe useful for the session, Ani has them prepared. I felt very comfortable and knew we picked the right baby photographer when we first walked into her studio.

2. She is very professional and her sessions are highly customizable. I called Ani when I was 38 weeks pregnant and we had a long phone call consultation to get to know each other and the coming baby. She shoots based on what you want to do with pictures and what your home style is. And I could tell over the phone how warm and nice she was and how passionate she is with this job.

3. She is the baby whisperer. Ani is very good with kids. My son was very fussy at the newborn session, but Ani was super patient, soothing and accommodated to him. At the 7-months photo session, she booked it to accommodate my son’s napping schedule and she knew just the right way to capture his emotions and personality.

4. Her pictures are amazing! She has so many beautiful settings and customs. And she really focuses on capturing the unique things about your kid, like their emotions and little things my son does with his hands and toes. The very cute little milestones that I thought only the parents care about.

If you want to take your precious baby to a photographer to capture her/his beautiful moments growing up, take your baby to Ani. She is the best!!

I've never had pictures done professionally, so I was a little nervous going into this. But Ani was so incredible to work with, the moment we started my session I was at ease! She was helpful in guiding me in ways to pose and made sure the session was fun, light hearted and really just a breeze for me! About a week later I went in to decide in which to print and her work was amazing! She was patient with me as I went through everything and was helpful in offering layout and print suggestions. I am so grateful for having found someone like Ani as a photographer, as she is both professional and fun to work with. I highly recommend her for maternity pictures, and I'm excited my newborn pictures are with her as well!

I thought we were going to be creative by calling Ani "The Baby Whisperer" on Yelp, however we see several other people prior have already referred to Ani as "The Baby Whisperer" and we agree 100%. Ani has such a genuine, sweet, gentle, kind & patient demeanor which makes her not only a really wonderful person for us adults, but also makes her the perfect person to relax little babies enough to get them to pose perfectly for the camera. We loved the entire experience and recommend Ani highly for anyone seeking for a photographer.

I did a lot of research before I chose Ani. I knew that I wanted newborn pictures taken, but I also wanted them to be taken by the best newborn photographer. Ani truly is the best. Her work is next level and very unique. 

On top of her being a very talented photographer, she's a lovely, patient person. My baby was under a week old when he shot with Ani, so you can imagine that I was a little nervous. From the moment she held my son, I felt at ease. She's absolutely wonderful with newborns. 

One of my very favorite things about Ani's studio is her waiting area. It was so cozy and comfortable. I took full advantage of the three or so hours that Ani was photographing my baby. I snacked and took a much needed nap. 

Ani took her time with the shoot and the results really show that she did. My husband and I love all of the photos and feel blessed that Ani was able to capture his little personality. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for newborn photography. Trust me, it's an art and takes a great deal of patience and a creative eye. Ani is a true professional and a very talented photographer!

Our experience with Ani could not have been better. We contacted her about a month before our due date and she explained her process and our options very clearly. Smartly, she asked about the newborn pictures we have of our first child (taken by a photographer that is great but has moved away from L.A.) so she could both see what we like, and think about how our new photos would "work" with our first child's newborn shots. At that time, she tentatively scheduled us for a newborn session date, though she said she would work with us if the baby did not come on time.

Our delivery was on schedule with no unexpected issues, so we were able to have our session as planned, and Ani knocked it out of the park. Our newborn was pretty fussy that day, but Ani never gave up. In fact, she was willing to keep going even when we were tired out and ready to go home. She was unphased when we added our 2 1/2-year-old wild one to the mix for a few sibling shots (something we had discussed before hand, but was uncertain because we did not know if our older child would be calm he around the newborn). It was very helpful that she had a "green room" with a TV so our older child was not climbing all over the photo setups when Ani was taking our newborn's individual photos.

Working with Ani after the session was also a breeze. A few weeks after the session, we went into her studio to see the shots. They were all artistic and technically great, and she was also able to work with us about touch-ups and picking the photos we wanted printed and digitally delivered. A few weeks after that, we were able to pick up the prints and a thumb drive with digital images (we ended up buying extra digital photos because we liked so many shots), and the quality of everything was great. 

Ani runs a very professional business, and though her prices may be higher than some photographers (and, to be clear, she is certainly not the most expensive either), she is really well situated to get the best possible pictures. This is not only because she is a talented photographer, but she thinks ahead and has all the resources to get the most out of the limited opportunity to do newborn shots. A solid five-star photographer!

Ani is amazing and I would highly recommend her!  Our daughter was about 2 weeks old when we used Ani for her newborn photography session (older than the suggested age.)  Our daughter is a firecracker who is restless, fidgety, and does not sleep easy at all...needless to say it was not easy to get her into a sleepy state to take photos.  But Ani, the baby whisperer, was so patient.  She spent hours soothing our baby on and off to get the most beautiful shots of her!  We also took family photos with our almost 2-old-year son...who happened to be tired and cranky...but again Ani got him to laugh and smile.  Like I said, she's amazing. 
Ani is not only very professional and an amazing photographer, she is also super sweet.  She made us feel at home in her cozy and inviting studio.  She gave her professional opinion when it came time to design our photo album and order prints.  She was also very upfront and transparent about her pricing.  
We are so happy with the final product and look forward to using her again.

Ani was very patient and accommodating with our baby photo session. Our baby was very alert and wouldn't fall asleep easily so the session ended up taking longer than expected. But throughout all, she was great with our baby and us. We decided to do the 6 months and 1 year photos with her as well!

I've never done a maternity photo shoot before, searched online and found Ani, and am I glad I did! I was 37 weeks pregnant during my shoot, not only is Ani kind, caring, and talented, she genuinely wants to get to know you and personalizes your experience during a special time. Her photo studio is super cute and has everything you need including snacks & drinks plus parking. One reason why I booked with her is her skills in drapery! Looking at photos online I thought they were beautiful dresses, well lo and behold, it's the artistic gift of Ani that makes the materials drape so beautifully around your body and the turn out? A beautifully captured image. Ani makes you feel welcomed and comfortable! 

We also saw Ani couple weeks after our newborn arrived for her session. I cannot believe how gentle and patient she was with her. We felt incredibly comfortable having Ani handle our newborn, enough so we hung out in the other room for some time.

We are so happy we found Ani to capture our newborn photos!!  We are pretty sure she's a baby whisperer in addition to being a very patient and talented photographer!  

Being new parents, we didn't think it would be necessary to invest in newborn photos.  Once our son turned two weeks old, we realized we were wrong and found ourselves scrambling to find a photographer to capture these precious moments for us.  There were several newborn photographers that had immediate dates available (due to smart parents who booked early but delivered early, freeing up their tentative time slot), but once I connected with Ani via phone, I knew she'd be the right photographer for us.  She was very sweet and patient while my son cried in the background of our first call, and she was very thorough in getting to know us.  To plan for the shoot, she wanted to better understand our son's temperment and also asked about our home design aesthetic to ensure the props and colors chosen would match our decor.  She explained the process and pricing up front so we knew what to expect before we got to the shoot.  She sent via email all the detail we discussed so I could reference if needed as well.  Her attention to detail in the planning process was so thoughtful and more than I could have expected.

The couple days leading up to the shoot our son became VERY fussy; lots of cries and resistant to nap time.  We thought it would be impossible for Ani to capture any shots where he wasn't crying.  We couldn't have been more wrong!  Ani took her time with our son,  handling him very gently and helping him relax.  We were in disbelief when our son slept almost the entire time we were at the studio.  It was so cozy, even my husband fell asleep for a nap on one of the couches she has available for the parents to relax on.  We even took away a few tricks from her that have been invaluable to get our son to relax at home!

About two weeks later, Ani set up an additional in studio review of all the shots.  The photos were gorgeous, making it difficult to narrow down to the favorites but with her help and suggestions, we were able to make the tough decisions.  She's been a great communicator throughout the process, letting us know how long retouching takes, as well as for the actual prints to come back.  

We loved working with Ani.  She did such an exceptional job of capturing all the little details of our newborn son that we never wanted to forget.  Happy we'll have these photographs to cherish for a lifetime!

We were looking to document our twins as newborns and so happy we found Ani. Upon arriving to her studio it was warm and cozy, perfect setting to comfort our babies and get them photo ready. I was so impressed at how well Ani handled the babies. Ani's calm and patient demeanor made our babies super comfortable with her. One of our babies was experiencing gas pains and I was amazed how Ani was able to soothe her. I also really appreciated how comfortable Ani made the studio for my husband and I. There was a comfy sofa along with TV where we were streaming our favorite shows and there were snacks and drinks available. We met again to review the photos and it was so clear to see that Ani has a true talent for capturing the most adorable baby poses. Ani's talent really shines through in her work, she is truly an artist. I feel so lucky to have worked with Ani and will always be grateful to have newborn photos that we can look back on and cherish.

Ani is an incredibly talented and a gentle soul. She has been so patient, thorough and accommodating throughout the entire experience. Her personable approach is what made us ultimately book with her. 

She kept in touch with us as our due date came and went and we were able to book a new date as our baby arrived 1 week late. Her studio is well appointed and comfortable. My husband and I were actually able to squeeze in a nap while she took photos of our daughter. When it came for the family photos, I was sweating profusely due to the hormones and a brewing infection. She was so kind, turning up the AC, fanning me and blotting my face. She was able to capture something very sweet for us, we had tears in our eyes when we went in to proof the photos about 2 weeks later.

I can't wait to receive our album soon. It takes approximately 6 weeks and from the samples I've seen I know they will be treasured heirlooms. She has cultivated an artistry in photographing newborns and children and we look forward to shooting again with her for our daughter's 6 months and 1 year milestones.

I was on the search for a photographer for maternity pictures during the last few months of my pregnancy.  I searched Yelp and found Ani. 
Being my first pregnancy I wasn't sure what to expect or how to feel.  I knew I wanted to capture pictures of this beautiful journey but at the same time I wasn't  feeling comfortable in my 37 week belly.  Well although Ani does suggest to do it at an earlier stage she accommodated me. 
Where do I start... first of all her studio is just amazing.  She has a wonderful setup. She provides snacks and water and just thinks of the smallest details. Not only did she make me feel comfortable but she made me feel beautiful.  And needless to say my pictures turned out beautiful, a work of art.  
I booked my little ones session with her too. Wow! Ani was amazing with her, patient,  and knowledgeable. She was able to capture her just beautifully. We ordered pictures and a canvas but the photo album took our breath away.  I can't wait to share with our family this Christmas.  
We already booked our daughters 6 month session and will definitely be booking her 12 month session with Ani.

Let me start by saying Ani Portraits is the BEST!  The previous photographer i booked with had to cancel last minute due to studio issues.  I was referred to consult with Ani and did not regret my decision to book with her.  Her photo studio is warm and inviting.  I was impressed as it was a comfortable environment for me to enjoy the experience, relax, and feed the baby as needed.  However, what i was most impressed with is Ani's patience and keen eye for poses with my family and newborn. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Ani Portraits. From the initial consultation to the photography session and the follow-up meeting, Ani impressed me on every level. Not only is she a fantastic photographer, but she is also very detail oriented, great with infants, and a truly caring person.

My son was a little older than is typically recommended for newborn photos, but Ani did a great job keeping him calm during the session and the photos turned out to be gorgeous. Prior to our follow-up meeting, she used FaceTime to take a tour of my house in order to find the best walls for portraits. Then she used a computer design program to show me how everything would look on the walls. This technology was extremely helpful in choosing the best portraits for each space. I absolutely love the portraits that we ordered and found the cute packaging that they arrived in to be a nice touch.

Throughout the experience, Ani was very professional and also incredibly warm and personable. You can tell that she loves her job and she excels at it. I would highly recommend her for your next portrait session.

We had a great experience with Ani. She is professional on all levels and the photos say more than I can in this review. Everyone is amazed at our announcement card and the prints are of incredibly high quality. You get what you pay for! Be ready for a longish photoshoot. We were all a bit exhausted at the end but Ani handled it (even a few "accidents") all very well. She is patient and has an incredibly positive attitude. It is clear Ani takes pride in her work. Words cannot describe the creativity, patience and personality of Ani! As a first time parent, we didn't know we were supposed to take newborn pictures within 10-14 days of a newborn, as all the photography studios recommended. But Ani was super-patient! Our baby was one month old, was moving around, didn't want to sleep or cooperate, and even pooped in the middle of a shoot. Out of the few hours of constantly pacifying a squirmy and crying baby, the few minutes of photos that Ani was able to take had such beautiful results! We will keep these of a lifetime and beyond. After doing some research on newborn photography we decided with Ani Portraits because she had the props that I loves so much and such good creativity. She has such a lovely personality that she greets you as family yet is very professional. Her studio is very welcoming and comfortable, where parents can relax or help with the session. At first I was hesitant because my 6 day old had been quite the fussy one in her first days of life and I didn't want to ruin a good newborn session, but she has a way with newborns and my girl didn't cry once in the 3 hrs we were there. Yes, 3 hrs! I appreciate that a photographer blocks off a few hours to attend to 1 customer at a time and to take the best pictures possible, rather than rush through the session. Ani takes her time and pays really good attention to details. She was also kind enough to accommodate other requests that I did not mention at our first consultation. She has a good furnished space for family to relax in during that time with snacks and tv if desired. Pricing is reasonable as it is a customizable newborn session rather than the 1 hour corner photography places. It is definitely for serious buyers. Plus who can put a price on your first newborn pictures that will be treasured for a lifetime.

I started my research for a photographer for my pregnancy pictures and newborn pictures, after researching a few photographers, I decided to go with Ani. When I saw her work I immediately felt in love with it, she was a true professional. Her prices were competitive with the best photographers out there. Before the maternity session we discussed over the phone the appropriate outfits and colors that would match my skin tone and the color of the walls in my house. Upon her arrival, she setup her studio in my living room very fast and when we started taking the pictures I noticed she is a perfectionist doing an excellent and very professional job, she made sure that my clothes and hair were in place at all times. During the newborn session, we also discussed the outfits and even minor details like, having my baby with no diaper in the morning, so there were no diaper mark on his body, she was very patient with him and even rocked him to sleep for the session. she had a variety of props that made the session very unique. After the session she came back to my house to bring my order and I was very satisfied with the quality of the pictures and frames, I can tell they will last forever. I will recommend Ani to my family and friends.

Ani came to our home when our newborn twin boys Kai and Coleman, were 16 days old and approached the photo shoot with tremendous gentleness, patience and humor. When our orders arrived, not only were they hand delivered by Ani, beautifully and impeccably packaged but the photographs, albums and slide show brought tears to our smiling eyes. This kind of class and care is what makes Ani a true artist and a gem.

We had our newborn photography with Ani. She is a very nice person and a true professional in her work. She is really organized and makes sure you understand the process completely. Although our newborn session took a little longer than usual as our daughter woke up twice, Ani handled everything with patience and the end results came out really nice. We are really pleased! I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Ani. She was so sweet and patient with my son. She was very professional and I felt so comfortable with her handling my newborn baby! Her pics are gorgeous and I would absolutely refer her to anyone.

First things first!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ani's work, she did a completely amazing job. She captured my 1st newborn amazingly. My husband and I are truly satisfied with Ani's work. Ani is a true professional and a wonderful photographer. She makes you feel comfortable and had beautiful attention to detail for our new born photo session. She was also very patient with our uncooperative two year old who did not want to take a photo with our 6 day old daughter. Her photos were beautiful and you can see the pride in Ani's work. Our family booked Ani for a photo shoot at a garden. Although my kids were causing havoc she remained calm and professional at all times. She was very clear in detail from the beginning and walked me through the process of what to expect and what to do the day of. She also emailed me a long list of things to make sure of before the photo shoot. It was very helpful. When she arrived at our house with the pictures and slideshow she took our breath away! Her work is AMAZING!!! She is a true professional and I cannot wait to recommend her to friends and family!

My husband and I kid around and call Ani the "baby whisperer" she is so gentle and has a way with babies that is amazing. We loved how she came to the house and was so flexible with the last minute photos that we wanted. She took her time, didn't rush, and really gave us her all. LOVE Ani!!! I wanted to book Newborn photo session for our little munchkin baby boy. I am very picky with my photos and Ani was recommended by my Doula. I called Ani and she gave me an appointment as soon as within a week. she was very detail oriented and gave us clear instruction for the session and recommendations on the outfits. Ani showed up on time and she was very professional and patient with the baby. She spent a lot of time and never rushed through the session. She knows how to clam the baby, it was very hard to work with my baby as he was fussy but Ani made it work. Her selection on colors, backgrounds and props was excellent. When we got our photos, we were in love with those photos and we ordered all the prints as well as framed portrait. She delivered all our prints on time and I even booked Treasured Moments for the first year milestone sessions with Ani. In my opinion, she is the best professional photographer and I strongly recommend her. Thank you Ani for capturing wonderful moments of our family and we will see you soon for our baby's 6 months session.

This is my 1st review and I never review anything but I feel Ani my child's photographer deserves a great review. I wanted to photograph my son for his 1 yr. I had a rough idea of what I wanted, so I called Ani for a consultation and she immediately just blew me away. She completely understood me. She was also very knowledgable about how to take the best pictures, when and where! She had everything figured out! And that told me she had been doing this for a while and most important she is so patient, and with my son that was a must. Ani is the greatest photographer she has such an eye for detail, she can look at a certain place and know weather or not it would be a good place to photograph, she understands shadows, angles, lighting all that technical stuff!! I was amazed by how knowledgeable she is! She's such a sweetheart also so calm and patient, soft spoken I just loved meeting her and was glad she photographed my son. The finished product was amazing she did a wonderful job, my son looks beautiful in those portraits! I can't even say enough about her professionalism, her photography, her work!! But I will say this, you will not regret choosing her for all your photography needs! You will be very very pleased!!

Very professional and obviously loves what she does and it shows in her work. We were pleasantly surprised with all the time and care she takes before and after the shoot to get things right. It was our first time working with a professional photographer for a photo session with our little one so we were a little nervous and unsure of what we were getting ourselves into. Ani captured some beautiful moments of our family. Her patience and professionalism put us all at ease -- from our teething 7 month old to our skittish Shiba Inu mix! After a little research I decided to go with Ani as her sessions fit my budget and preferences. Ani is a great, experienced photographer. At first I was doubtful about myself of hiring a photographer unsure of how the whole experience will be as this is my first time hiring a photographer. Ani was great from the start, she has an organised way of working with her customers and always makes it a point to address the customers preferences. She helped me choose the colors, outfits based on the locations which I thought was great. My maternity shoot and newborn session/photos were absolutely stunning. Ani is well-trained to handle newborns and is really patient. I can not say enough on how well the photos came out. Ani did an excellent job and I definitely would like to work with Ani again in future. One plus point is - Ani can do newborn sessions at customers home, which I think is a huge plus and is very convenient. Thank you Ani, for capturing our special moments so wonderfully! :-)

Ani truly is TALENTED at what she does!! We had photos taken of our 21 month old daughter for the first time. Our daughter is a very active toddler, so we chose an outdoor location :) Ani was fantastic! She kept our daughter interested and really knew how to work with her. We are so incredibly happy with our photos!! Ani was very professional and punctual through the whole process. It was so hard to chose the photos we wanted cause they were all so great!! Pleasure to work with and will definitely use her again for our family photos in the future :)

I could not be happier with how the photos of my girls came out! I was a little skeptical that the photos were going to be taken inside my home - I didn't think there was an appropriate space for the photos. However, Ani's decisions on where to take the photos were perfect and everyone thinks the photos were taken at a studio. Also, my 2-year-old and 6-month old were both sick the day of the photos, but Ani did not let that stop her from doing her job. She was great with both my girls and captured images of them that I absolutely fell in love with. The photos are amazing and beautiful. I will recommend her to anyone looking for a family photographer.

After some yelp searches, I went with Ani. And all I can say is Amazing!! It's my and my husband first born. We have no experience in this and we were a little nervous about it. Ani is so talented, professional and knowledgeable in everything "baby"! She had so many different outfits and props to choose from. She was patient and gentle with my newborn baby boy which was a major bonus! I felt super comfortable working with her and my baby was happy too! I truly am so pleased with the way out newborn shoot went. She clearly loves her job and it shows in her dedication and work. I was very happy with the pictures.

It was a total coincidence that Ani and I met but as faith would have it I was looking for a photographer at the time. One look at Ani’s work and I knew she was exactly the kind of photographer I was looking for, not to mention how detailed and professional she was before the shoot. We had the best experience with Ani! She is so talented and friendly and just great at what she does. She is a true artist! Ani photographed our 20 month twin babies. Even though our daughter spent two hours running away from her, Ani managed to capture our sweet little (feisty) girl in the most beautiful photographs. She did not mind when our son grabbed daddy’s camera and was playing with it refusing to give it back. Ani made it a part of the session and had fun with it, creating the best photographs of our son. Despite all sorts of toddler drama, Ani patiently captured our twin toddlers in their truest and most honest forms. Their personalities shine through on the photographs! What we love about each of our children are staring back at us in Ani’s portraits. We will forever see our son’s kindness and sweet happy and playful spirit in his photographs and our daughter’s timeless and feminine spirit and deep emotions. What an amazing family heirloom to take with us throughout our lives, and those of our children and grandchildren down the line.

We are so grateful for these memories and to Ani for creating them. We are also grateful that she travels to her clients’ chosen location. We chose the same location where we took our wedding photos, and we will forever cherish our children’s photos taken in the same location where mommy and daddy captured the start of their life together. Ani also sat with us patiently while we chose our favorite photographs to order. It was a slow process because there were so many beautiful photos. Ani did not mind and enjoyed selecting our photos. After the photos were ready, Ani personally delivered them in the most beautiful box with a red bow. The entire experience was beautiful, start to finish. Ani, thank you for coming into our lives!

Ani is great with kids, so patient and entertaining! The day of our photos, I was sick and my daughter was overtired and cranky but Ani was patient and calm and just kept trying to capture some good shots. My daughter (11 months) was just interested in 1) crawling away 2) grabbing the camera or 3) knocking down the tripod and giant silver light reflecting thing. I was surprised how nice the pictures turned out when I saw the final product and ordered a bunch to share with family and friends. She also offers beautiful custom frames for the photos.

Ani has been taking portraits of my daughter for three years now, and her work is always amazing. She is patient, easygoing, professional and accommodating. Her photos are exceptional, above and beyond expectation, and I'm always thrilled to give them as gifts to friends and family. My daughter loves her as well. Working with four little active and inpatient kids can be a challenge even for the most experienced photographer. But Ani did an excellent job!!!
