As much as I love photographing newborns and babies, there are these newborn photo sessions that are a little more special to me then others. It's the ones that come to me after a maternity photo session or with their second baby. At that point I had had the chance to get to know the parents while they didn't yet have this new little one in their life, and then I meet them for the newborn photoshoot and there are already three of them. I get to witness a little bit of the miracle and the transformation of the couple into parents. It's kind of magical. 

Of course the reason I mention all this, is because Miah came to me after a maternity photo session as well. I photographed her cute bump, or more accurately to say her mama's cute baby bump with her daddy at the beach a few weeks before Miah was born. They were such an adorable couple to photograph and it was so wonderful to see their family grow. They have so much love for this baby-girl. I look forward seeing them again soon for Miah's next milestone session.
